A Texas-born artist, Gill’s works are featured in the permanent collections of major institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.

Out of his vast and eclectic production, Gill’s Marilyn Monroe series—especially meaningful as we approach her 2026 centenary—and his bold Women in Cars collection stand out as enduring and iconic expressions of modern American culture.
