Refined Murano glass amphora by Fratelli Toso, circa 1930s.
The elongated drop-shaped body, rising from a circular foot, is worked in deep black glass enriched with shimmering avventurina inclusions (copper “stars”).
Two tall, applied handles in black glass frame the slender neck, which opens into a softly flared rim.
The elegant proportions and glittering avventurina surface make this a distinctive example of Murano’s interwar glass production, showcasing the virtuosity of the historic Fratelli Toso furnace.
H. 16 in ; Diam. 5.25 in
Excellent vintage condition.
SKU: FRT011
