Hand-sculpted massello (solid) glass figure of a resting hippopotamus, fully acid-etched to a soft satin finish. This piece closely matches published designs from the same period, though minor differences in body position suggest it may have been an experimental prototype.

Very good vintage condition. Minor flea bites on the bottom edge, invisible when displayed.
