Elegant soffiato vase in delicate aquamare blue glass, executed in the 1930s in the style of Napoleone Martinuzzi.
The surface features a classic costolato (ribbed) design, with an uncommon narrowing just below the midpoint—a subtle form variation known in coeval works.
This light and refined object also exhibits micro-particles of ash within the glass, a telltale sign of production prior to the widespread use of gas-fueled furnaces.
W. 5 in. × D. 5 in. × H. 12 in.
Excellent Vintage Condition.
Some light surface limestone, particularly on the lower section; base shows appropriate age and wear.
