Yoli Valdes Gnesin believes passionately in the whole “Life Balance”. She incorporates her 20 years as a multidisciplinary holistic healer along with her tenure studying under the tutelage of some of the world’s most prominent spiritual leaders, and parlays them into her “LifeBalance” design theory, giving birth to the ultimate in mind –body–spirit–home design called ZENTAO. ZENTAO marries the philosophy of living in the here and now (e.g.: being present with your life NOW) with the open ability to create a design that flows with the way your life unfolds.


Her main teachings are centered around Simplicity, Patience and Compassion, your three greatest treasures.

  1. By living a life simple in thought and action, one returns to their source of being.
  2. When one masters the art of patience with both friends and enemies, one reconciles oneself with the meaning of ‘the whole’.
  3. Finally, learning to be compassionate with self, one of the hardest lessons to learn, is the key to generating the peace within needed to reconcile one’s energy with all beings in the world.

I start with inspiration from the client's personality and lifestyle, color and stylistic preferences, as well as the architecture of the space that exists or needs to be created. I use an intuitive approach, Eastern philosophy and the beauty I find around me, paying attention to details such as natures colors and patterns, to offer specific changes that lead to simple gracious living.
